The SA-2AHP takes care of special materials and heavy duty horizontal cutting. A suction device under the table ensures precision of cutting, and the cutting unit is equipped with two grinding mechanisms to keep the blade sharp throughout a cutting job. Furthermore, automatic grinding retraction protects the blade from unnecessary wear and production costs. This machine has seen worldwide use in manufacturing, furnishing, and automotive industries—inquire today.
Sunkist’s best-selling long sheet cutter, the SA-2AHPL transforms polyurethane slabstock into rolled foam sheets. The cast-steel cut head is robust and designed to descend with the height of the foam to ensure even cuts of low tolerance every time. The vacuum system under the work surface further secures foam from misalignment. Side trimming blades and heat jointing are optional add-ons for efficient large-scale production.
The Heavy Duty Looper is an upgraded long splitter that first glues a long foam block end-to-end, then runs the looping system to produce a long continuous foam sheet roll. The digital control panel calculates cutting thickness and length, and foam rolls can be easily removed for lamination. The SA-2AHPR is particularly good for high-density materials, as well as water- and shockproof materials; end products include diving suits, mouse pads, shoes, backpacks.
Sunkist’s Large Looper System is designed for large-scale conversion plants to turn slabstock into rolled foam. The cast-steel cut head is adjustable by increments of 0.1mm, with automatic height and angle adjustments to follow the foam loop as it is peeled. The suction system underneath the perforated conveyor keeps foam well in place throughout the splitting and rolling operation.
The SA-2HTV trims three sides—two sides and the top—of both flexible and rigid foam blocks. Compression ensures precise removal of foam skin only and reduces material waste.
The Laboratory Horizontal Cutting Machine is designed to test cuts on foam materials. Designed for plants that create their own foaming recipes, the SA-2S gives chemists and operators the ability to experiment with product quality in controlled quantities, before scaling up to factory-wide production.
The SA‐3 trims and cuts foam blocks into desired sizes with a vertical blade. Guide fence position is adjustable by hand wheel, and the table unit is manually moved on sliding tracks. One of Sunkist’s classic and best-settling machines around the world.
The SA‐3AR cuts foam blocks on a conveyor surface with a two‐directional rotating knife head. Capable of 90˚ turns, the knife can trim all four sides of the block, as well as divide the block up into smaller pieces, all without manual operators to rotate or move the material (add an optional compression roller for maximum material stability). Preset cutting patterns for automatic operations.
The Laboratory Vertical Cutting Machine is designed to test cuts on foam materials. Designed for plants that create their own foaming recipes, the SA-3SS gives chemists and operators the ability to experiment with product quality in controlled quantities, before scaling up to factory-wide production.
The SA‐3VA is a multipurpose cutting machine, with a knife unit that can be adjusted for vertical and angular cutting. Cut at up to 55˚ on the left side and 60˚ on the right. The Vertical and Angle Cutting Machine is widely used in the upholstery industry, and can be designated for flexible, rigid, and specialty foam conversion—inquire today.
The SA-3VTS trimming station consists of four cutting units and a conveyor base to move the foam block forward and backward through the machine. Two cutting units trim away foam skin on two sides, then the top of the block. An additional vertical blade can split the block into smaller pieces during operation, and the fourth blade, with a 90˚-rotating head, can further process long blocks into shorter lengths.
The SA-4AH is a highly efficient foam shredder with a stationary and a rotary cutter, capable of crushing flexible to HR foam, and quilted waste like mattress covers. A built-in cooling system prevents the blades from overheating at high speed, and the size of foam chips can be adjusted by changing the mesh.
