Sunkist’s L-Series is expertly designed to test numerous qualities of foam: compression fatigue (SA-L2), resilience (SA-L3), hardness (SA-L4), and flame retardance (SA-L5). The SA-L1 in particular can test for ASTM D3574 and the related ISO standards.

The SA-15A uses hydraulic force to press and cut die patterns out of foam. The tri-cylinder design increases die cutting speed, precision, and stability, making this machine highly suitable for cutting materials with a larger surface area. With its new extended service life functionality, the SA-15A is both easy to operate, long-lasting, and customizable to different levels of automation as needed.
The SA-25 is a hydraulic press that compresses foam scraps into bales for easy transport and storage from a conversion plant. Designed for safety and convenience, the machine accepts foam scraps into a silo formed by three protective walls that are easily removed for inserting the strings to secure the bale. Standard bale size is 90x90x90cm, containing about 100-120 kgs of foam scraps each.
The SA‐2AB is a fully automatic machine for the cutting and stacking of PU foam. A conveyor surface moves materials laterally for a band knife to cut, while high‐power suction keeps the foam fixed and stable. This is the ideal horizontal cutter to add to any cutting line.
The SA‐2AC is fitted with a rotating circular table on which foam blocks are placed. The blade automatically adjusts its height as preset after each round of cutting and the cut pieces remain stacked for manual removal when the cutting is completed. The maximum turning speed of the table is 5 RPM, and a grinding device keeps the blade sharp during operation to ensure production efficiency and foam quality. Remove stacked foam altogether after the job is complete. Main motor is stable and noiseless. Rotation speed is adjustable.
The SA-2AHP takes care of special materials and heavy duty horizontal cutting. A suction device under the table ensures precision of cutting, and the cutting unit is equipped with two grinding mechanisms to keep the blade sharp throughout a cutting job. Furthermore, automatic grinding retraction protects the blade from unnecessary wear and production costs. The Heavy Duty Looper is an upgraded long splitter that first glues a long foam block end-to-end, then runs the looping system to produce a long continuous foam sheet roll. The digital control panel calculates cutting thickness and length, and foam rolls can be easily removed for lamination. The SA-2AHPR is particularly good for high-density materials, as well as water- and shockproof materials; end products include diving suits, mouse pads, shoes, backpacks.
Sunkist’s Large Looper System is designed for large-scale conversion plants to turn slabstock into rolled foam. The cast-steel cut head is adjustable by increments of 0.1mm, with automatic height and angle adjustments to follow the foam loop as it is peeled. The suction system underneath the perforated conveyor keeps foam well in place throughout the splitting and rolling operation.
